A Bit About Me
Since I could babble, I've always been captivated by the wonders of the natural world. Growing up, I was glued to shows like Wild Kratts, River Monsters, and The Incredible Dr. Pol. You could find me with my nose buried in a Nat Geo book or exploring the garden. As I matured, my love for animals and passion for conserving our planet only deepened. Welchman Hall Gully and Graeme Nature Sanctuary is where I would study animal behavior up close. With the growing awareness of climate crisis and the AI boom, I realized our world desperately needs advocates who speak up for her. Even if I'm just 15 I make sure my voice is heard. I don't think governments around the world are doing enough to curve the climate crisis and assist conservation efforts. Our natural world is dying and I want to be one of the many who help save it.
Work Experience
December 8th 2024
On December 8th I participated in the Barbados Environmental Design Challenge. In this challenge my team and I collaborated to design a sustainable town for people in need. This experience helped me learn: communication strategies, teamwork, problem solving, leadership, project management and public speaking. The main aim of this Environmental Design Challenge was to improve the standard of living for residents of Kroo Bay by securing access to resources and improving the environment. The design must be environmentally sustainable. The re-design challenge prioritized the following:
● The Environment
● The People of Kroo Bay
● Sustainability
In this project I was voted as the "Vice President of Resource Security & Business". My roles were to:
● Design the Google Slides presentation and organize speakers for the pitch
● Work with VP of Engineering to address the contextual problems
● Support President with timing, inspiration, teamwork.

Welchman hall gully, Media Manager | St. Thomas, Barbados
For two months I edited videos or photos for Welchman Hall's gully's advertising. I had future visions for posters and video advertisements but the partnership was cut short due to the academic year starting back.
Welchman hall gully, Camp Councilor | St. Thomas, Barbados
After attending the camp since 2017, I started working as councilor in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. While attending and working at the camp I experienced first hand working closely with Barbados's flora and fauna. Learning many plant species and their uses. I've lead multiple tours around the island into gullies and other ecosystems teaching the youth about our natural world.
